Railway Aftermarket Elastomer Parts
Secondary Suspension Springs, Coupler & Damper Elastic Components
Advanced Comfort Optimization and Coupler Cushioning Solutions for Railway Vehicles
Category Overview
Ride Quality and Coupling Safety Start with the Elastomer
The secondary suspension system and coupler draft gears dictate passenger ride quality and train coupling safety. We supply engineered secondary suspension springs--including hourglass springs and rubber side-bearing springs--that deliver large lateral deflections with progressive stiffness characteristics.
Additionally, our product line encompasses elastic coupler rubber bearings designed to absorb longitudinal impact forces during train pairing and acceleration, alongside precision-molded damper bushings for hydraulic dampers. Built to withstand millions of continuous fatigue cycles, our elastomeric solutions guarantee smooth, low-noise passenger transport and durable freight operation.

What We Supply
Three Core Elastic Sub-Systems for Coaches and Freight Cars
Module 01 · Second Suspension Components
Hourglass Springs & Side-Bear Springs
Replacement secondary suspension springs for bogie-to-carbody connections. Hourglass (rubber-metal layered) springs and rubber side-bearing springs give large lateral deflection, progressive stiffness and effective force isolation for railway coaches and freight cars.
Large Lateral Deflection
Accommodates bogie movement on curves and through track irregularities.
Progressive Stiffness
Soft response at low loads, firmer support as deflection increases.
Force Isolation
Reduces vibration and noise transmitted from bogie to carbody.

Module 02 · Coupler System Elastic Parts
Coupler Rubber Bearings & Buffer Elements
Elastic coupler rubber bearings and coupler buffers absorb longitudinal impact forces during train pairing and acceleration, protecting the coupler, the underframe and the load.
- Cushions longitudinal shock during coupling and traction
- Ball-joint bearings allow angular movement between coupler and carbody
- Helps reduce noise and vibration through the train consist
- Replacement parts supplied to your drawing, sample or specification

Module 03 · Damper Bushes & Mounts
Hydraulic Shock Absorber Damper Bushes
Precision-molded damper bushings and hydraulic damper rubber joints for both ends of railway shock absorbers. They transfer damping forces while isolating high-frequency vibration from the bogie and carbody.
- Rubber-plastic and rubber-metal joints for yaw, vertical and lateral dampers
- Controlled radial and axial stiffness for stable damper performance
- Suited to long-term maintenance and replacement programs
- Non-standard sizes and compounds available on request
Testing & Performance Guarantee
Verified Stiffness and Fatigue Performance
Elastomeric parts earn trust through data. Hourglass springs and other suspension elements can be evaluated in multi-axis stiffness and fatigue testing, so you can compare results against your drawing or the original part before you order.
- Multi-axis stiffness checks -- vertical, lateral and longitudinal stiffness against your target values.
- Fatigue cycle testing -- designed for millions of continuous load cycles in service.
- Dimensional and material review -- match to your drawing, sample or technical specification.
- Test data on request -- tell us which test reports your maintenance team needs when you send your RFQ.
